RSE Curriculum Audit

The RE, RSE and HE Guidance states that “schools should continue to develop knowledge on topics specified for primary as required and in addition cover the following content by the end of secondary:”  Our curriculum audit below highlights where and when key themes are addressed throughout our curriculum provision.

Our 6th Form provision will include 'Form Coaching Sessions' once each half-term and a collapsed RSE day on Tuesday, 8th March 2022 where we will provide a carousel of activities promoting local agencies and provision for all year groups, focusing on the following themes:

  • Alcohol awareness (Science/PHSE link)

  • Relationships and friendships, inc marriage and online safety (Computing link – outreach from Fort Alice)

  • Sexual Harassment (PHSE link)

  • Equality (PHSE link)

  • Consent (PHSE link – outreach from GMP)

  • Reproduction and Contraception (Science link and outreach from Bolton LA Sexual Health Team)

  • Adoption and Fostering (PHSE link – outreach from Adoption Matters)
